Issue: rnOn a small number of trucks, the driveshaft could break while driving and cause a sudden loss of power to the wheels. The driveshaft could also separate from the vehicle. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a driveshaft that separates from a vehicle could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnPACCAR will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the driveshaft.
