Issue: rnOn certain RV trailers, the spare tire carrier could break and separate from the trailer. rnNote: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recall no. 2023-226. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA spare tire carrier that falls from the trailer could create a hazard for other road users and increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnWinnebago will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to replace the spare tire carrier with a newly designed part. Winnebago recommends that you should inspect the spare tire carrier to ensure that it's secure before driving. You should also check it periodically throughout your trip.
