Issue:rnOn certain street sweeper vehicles, the pin securing the rear door hydraulic cylinder may not have been manufactured properly. Over time, the pin could corrode and fail when the door is in the open position. If this happens, the door could fall and close suddenly. rnrnSafety Risk:rnA rear door that falls suddenly could increase the risk of injury for the operator and people nearby. rnrnCorrective Actions:rnBucher Municipal North America will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the pin. The dealer will also install a retaining bracket to the rear door, affix warning labels on the street sweeper, and provide you with updated operation and maintenance instructions.
