Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the driveshaft may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the driveshaft could break and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Additionally, if the vehicle is parked and the parking brake isn't applied, the vehicle could roll away. rnNote: This recall only affects two-wheel-drive (2WD) models. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. A parked vehicle that rolls away could also create the risk of an injury or a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnNissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the driveshaft.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2024362.
