Transport Canada carries this recall as 2024363, dated 26 June 2024. The American register carries the same defect as campaign 24V476, dated 25 June 2024. They are the same defect because the manufacturer filed both under one internal campaign code, REC2402.

The two registers are 1 day apart: the American entry is dated first, the Canadian one second.
These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.
Read the American notice 24V476, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

Issue: rnOn certain RV trailers, the wiring for the 12 V system may not have proper circuit protection. Additionally, the 12 V refrigerator power wire may be too small. As a result, the wiring could overheat and melt. rnrnSafety Risk: rnWiring that overheats and melts can create a fire risk. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnBrinkley RV will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your RV trailer to a dealership to rewire the 12 V wiring to the breakers. The dealer will also replace the 12 V refrigerator wire, as necessary.
