If this happens, and nearby components contact the starter, it could cause a fire. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA fire can create the risk of injury. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnBMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the vehicle software.
