Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the beam that supports the left-rear wheel arch may be cracked. As a result, the strength of the vehicle structure could be reduced in a crash. rnrnSafety Risk: rnVehicle structure that isn't strong enough could increase the risk of a fire and/or injuries in a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnBMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the left-side support beam.
