Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, a motor in the integrated brake control module could fail and cause reduced power brake assist and a loss of rear hydraulic brakes. As a result, there may be reduced braking, and the antilock braking system (ABS) and dynamic stability control (DSC) may not work. rnrnSafety Risk: rnReduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, antilock brake and stability control systems that don't work could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnThe company will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the integrated brake system.
