Issue: rnOn certain RV trailers, the soft start device for the air conditioner could fail and overheat. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA soft start device that overheats could create the risk of a fire. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnTo reduce the safety risk, Airstream advises not to use the air conditioner until the recall repairs are completed. Airstream will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
