Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the windshield wiper motor may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the motor could fail and cause the windshield wipers not to work. rnNote: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2024-461. Vehicles that were repaired under that recall don't require this repair.rn rnSafety Risk: rnWindshield wipers that don't work could reduce visibility and increase the risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnFord will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the windshield wiper motor.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2024692.
