Issue: rnOn certain buses, the anchor screw caps for the wheelchair restraint system may not have been installed properly. As a result, the tie-downs may not lock correctly and could detach in a crash. rnNote: This recall only affects certain buses equipped with a Q'Straint Slide N' Click wheelchair restraint system. rnrnSafety Risk: rnTie-downs that detach in a crash could increase the risk of injury. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnMicro Bird will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to inspect and, if necessary, secure the anchor screw caps for the wheelchair restraint system. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment to have the repairs performed at a Micro Bird dealership.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2026117.
