Issue: rnOn certain golf cars, the passenger-side brake cable may not have been routed properly. As a result, the brake line could wear and fail. If this happens, there could be reduced braking. rn rnSafety Risk: rnReduced braking can cause increased stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnYamaha will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your golf car to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the passenger-side brake cable.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2026193.
