ディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス再循環装置（ＥＧＲ）において、排気ガス冷却装置の冷却方法が不適切なため、排気ガス中の煤が湿気を帯びることがある。そのため、煤がエンジンの吸気バルブへ堆積し密着不良を起こすことで、エンジンの出力低下やエンジン警告灯が点灯し、最悪の場合、インテークマニホールドが溶損し火災に至るおそれがある。What is to be done about it
全車両、ＥＧＲの冷却ホースを対策品に交換し、エンジンコントロールモジュールのプログラムを対策プログラムに書き換えて、周辺のセンサーを清掃する。 なお、インテークマニホールド等に損傷がある場合は、当該部品を新品に交換する。The two passages above are quoted in Japanese because that is the language the ministry published them in.
