高電圧バッテリーにおいて、セルモジュールの製造公差の設定が不適切なため、公差の大きいセルモジュールがある。そのため、特定条件下で充放電特性に関して不規則性が生じることがあり、影響を受けるセルモジュールとバッテリーの充電量が上限の範囲にある場合、セルバランス制御の放電時にバッテリーが過熱し、最悪の場合、火災に至るおそれがある。

What is to be done about it

全車両、改善措置用プログラムへの更新を行う。ただし、プログラムの準備に時間を要すことから、高電圧バッテリーの点検を行い、必要な場合は、バッテリーモジュールを良品と交換する。また、暫定措置として、充電量を８０％までに制限するとともに、バッテリーの点検を定期的（４ヶ月毎）に行う。
