The Commission records the risk level as serious risk, with the hazard recorded as injuries. The vehicle is recorded as originating in Japan. Twenty-seven member states share this system, and an alert raised by one is visible to all of them.

The Safety Gate is an alert system, not a recall register: a member state notifies the Commission of a product it considers dangerous, and the alert records that notification. It is not the same administrative act as a national recall, and this page does not treat the two as interchangeable.
