Concern

Possibility of fuel leak

Defect, as DVSA words it

It has been identified that during the fuel tank production process the joint between the tank and the fuel supply pipe assembly may not have been produced to the correct standard. Should this indeed be the case leakage from the supply pipe area of the fuel tank might occur.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recalled vehicles will have the fuel tank inspected and replaced as necessary.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference, because the reference DVSA lists is too short to match safely. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.

Citroen C1 in the other registers

This site holds seven national and European registers. Citroen C1 is named on 6 European notices and 4 Israeli. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.

Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

Citroen elsewhere in this register

Citroen is named on 414 notices in the copy of the DVSA’s register held here, of which these are the nearest to this one in time.

The same concern: POSSIBILITY OF FUEL LEAK

4 notices in this register name POSSIBILITY OF FUEL LEAK. A defect that keeps returning under one heading is worth reading as a group rather than one notice at a time.

Reading this against the source

This page is what the DVSA published in its file of vehicle recalls, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /uk-recalls, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
