Concern

Short circuit may occur

Defect, as DVSA words it

The water droplets formed by condensation at the roof panels can drip into the circuit board of the auxiliary switch panel. The condensation will affect for example rear lamp clusters saloon heating. If not rectified eventually smoke with the attendant smell could occur and after a time there is a theoretical risk of fire.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and fit a cover over the auxiliary switch panel.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.

Reading this against the source

This page is what the DVSA published in its file of vehicle recalls, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /uk-recalls, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
