On affected vehicles they may have been supplied with incorrect software in the Traction Battery Management Unit (TBMU) that can lead to a non-compliance with regulatory requirements.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

On the affected vehicles the TBMU software will be updated to meet regulatory requirements.
