Concern

Possible loss of braking at rear wheel

Defect, as DVSA words it

Under certain circumstances the rear brake hydraulic hose can contact the rear tyre sidewall causing the hose to wear and in extreme cases leak hydraulic fluid which could result in loss of braking to the rear wheel.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recalled machines will be fitted with an additional rear brake hose guide and the rear brake hose will be inspected and renewed; in the case of any tyre contact damage.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference, because DVSA lists none for this recall. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
