Concern

Fuel may leak from fuel tank

Defect, as DVSA words it

It has been identified due to the method used to mount the fuel tank that under certain engine conditions it is possible for a hairline crack to develop in the fuel tank. This can result in the fuel tank leaking.

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Recalled machines will have the fuel tank removed and visually inspected for cracks following which the tank will be subject to pressure testing. If the tank should be found to leak it will be replaced. In any event all affected machines will be fitted with a re-designed fuel tank mounting kit to prevent future problems.

What changed since we first read it

Nothing yet. The wording has been the same on every read since 4 September 2026. The file is read again every day; if DVSA rewrites the defect, remedy or concern, the old and new text will appear here with both dates.

The same recall in other registers

No match found in the American, Canadian or European registers by manufacturer reference, because DVSA lists none for this recall. A recall can exist abroad under a different reference; this site only claims a match when the reference agrees.
