Concern

The electronic control unit doesn't control the sudden increase in engine rpm

Defect, as DVSA words it

The electronic control unit (ECU) doesn�t control the sudden increase in engine rpm if the transmission gear is not properly engaged

Remedy, as DVSA words it

Reprogramme the ECU on all eligible units to control the sudden rpm surge.
