THE END OF THE FUEL TANK STRAP IS SUBJECT TO FATIGUE FAILURE. A STRAP FAILURE WILL ALLOW THE FUEL TANK TO MOVE ON ITS BRACKETS BUT THE FUEL TANK WOULD NOT SEPARATE FROM THE VEHICLE.
