TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH FF-931 FRONT AXLES AND MOTOR WHEEL CORPORATION ALUMINUM WHEEL HUBS. MOTOR WHEEL CORPORATION HAS DETERMINED THAT SOME OF ITS HUBS ARE SUBJECT TO FAILURE FROM A CRACK NEAR THE BASE OF THE INNER BEARING CUP THAT RESULTS IN A FRACTURE BETWEEN THE INNER HUB END AND THE FLANGE PORTION OF THE HUB. CONTINUED OPERATION IN THIS CONDITION COULD CAUSE THE HUB TO SEPARATE FROM THE VEHICLE WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF A VEHICLE CRASH.
Transport Canada recorded this notice in capitals, as its system did for many years. It is reproduced here exactly as published.
