TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH MACK 6 CYLINDER ENGINES AND FLEXIBLE BLADE ENGINE COOLING FANS. THE FLEXIBLE BLADE FANS MAY DEVELOP FATIGUE CRACKS IN THE LAMINATED STIFFENER. CONTINUED ENGINE OPERATION COULD CAUSE A PIECE OF THE STIFFENER TO BREAK OFF AND BE PROPELLED OUTSIDE OF THE FAN SHROUD. A PROPELLED FRAGMENT COULD CAUSE INJURY TO SERVICE PERSONNEL IN THE VICINITY OF AN OPERATING ENGINE.
