VEHICLES ARE EQUIPPED WITH STEERING TIE ROD END LINK ASSEMBLIES WITH ADJUSTING SLEEVE CLAMPS THAT MAY HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY MANUFACTURED. THE SLEEVE SLAMPS MAY HAVE FRACTURED WHEN THE CLAMP BOLT WAS TORQUED AND COULD BREAK ALLOWING THE TIE ROD ADJUSTING SLEEVE TO SEPARATE RESULTING IN A LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING.
