SOME BRAKE PUSHROD TO BRAKE PEDAL RETAINING PINS WERE INCORRECTLY HEAT TREATED AND MAY NOT MAINTAIN THE REQUIRED SET WHEN INSTALLED. THE RETAINING PIN MAY FALL OUT ALLOWING A POSSIBLE DISENGAGEMENT OF THE PUSHROD FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL RESULTING IN A LOSS OF SERVICE BRAKES.
