TRUCKS BUILT FROM JULY 11, 1977 TO OCTOBER 11, 1978 AND OTHER VEHICLES WHICH MAY HAVE HAD SERVICE WORK PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH A WHITE SERVICE BULLETIN. THE HOSE CLAMP USED TO PREVENT NOISE AND DIRT FROM ENTERING THE CAB FROM AROUND THE STEERING COLUMN MAY LOOSEN, SLIDE DOWN THGE STEERING SHAFT AND REST BETWEEN THE UNIVERSAL JOINT AND THE MANUAL STEERING GEAR HOUSING. THIS CONDITION MAY CAUSE INCREASED STEERING EFFORT AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL.
