THE THROTTLE RETURN SPRINGS ON THE SUBJECT VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH CUMMINS, DETROIT DIESEL ENGINES MAYU NOT RETURN THE ENGINE THROTTLE TO THE IDLE POSITION WITHIN THE TIME LIMITS APECIFIED BY CANADA MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD 124 - ACCELERATOR CONTROL SYSTEM. THIS CONDITION MAY CAUSE A MOMENTARY LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE UNDER EMERGENCY CONDITIONS.
