VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH REAR TOWING HITCH CROSSMEMBER AND A-FRAME ASSEMBLIES MAY DEVELOP CRACKS IN THE TOWING CROSSMEMBER WHICH SUPPORTS THE TRAILER HITCH AND TO WHICH THE TRAILER SAFETY CABLES ARE ATTACHED. COMPLETE FAILURE OF THE CROSSMEMBER COULD ALLOW THE TRAILER TO SEPARATE FROM THE TRUCK.
