THE CUMMINS MODEL 1988NT ENGINES ON THESE VEHICLES WERE ASSEMBLED WITH POTENTIALLY DEFECTIVE OIL COOLER GASKETS. DURING HIGH LOAD/HIGH TEMPERATURE OPERATION, LOSS OF LUBRICATING OIL MAY OCCUR RAPIDLY AND MAY LEAD TO FIRE FROM OIL BEING SPRAYED FROM A GASKET RUPTURE ONTO HOT EXHAUST PARTS. rnCORRECTION: GASKETS WILL BE REPLACED WITH IMPROVED STEEL CORE GASKETS.
