NOTE: VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH DOUGLAS AUTOTECH TILT STEERING COLUMN.
THE UPPER STEERING SHAFT RETAINING BALL MAY HAVE BEEN OMITTED FROM THE STEERING COLUMN DURING ASSEMBLY. THIS COULD ALLOW THE UPPER SHAFT TO TELESCOPE OUT TOO FAR AND DISENGAGE FROM THE STEERING COLUMN WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL IS DRAWN TO ITS MAXIMUM EXTENDED POSITION.
CORRECTION: VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED AND STEERING COLUMNS WITH NO UPPER SHAFT RETAINING BALL WILL BE REPLACED.
