NOTE: THERE ARE TWO DEFECTS IN THIS RECALL INVOLVING TWO COMPONENTS.rnFIRST, THE ADJUSTABLE HANDLEBARS MAY BE SUSCEPTIBLE TO CRACKING IN THE HANDLEBAR STUB. THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY THAT THIS CRACKING COULD RESULT IN BREAKAGE. SECOND, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE NUT THAT SECURES THE BALL JOINT TO THE TELELEVER SUSPENSION ARM COULD LOOSEN. THIS COULD CAUSE THE MOTORCYCLE'S DYNAMIC STABILITY TO BE IMPAIRED.rnCORRECTION: THE LEFT AND RIGHT HANDLEBAR AND RELATED PARTS WILL BE REPLACED AND THE BALL JOINT NUT WILL BE REPLACED AND SECURED WITH LOCTITE.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 1994191.
