Jaguar S-TYPE in the other registers
This site holds seven national and European registers. Jaguar S-TYPE is named on 4 Japanese notices. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.
The Japanese register
Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

On certain vehicles, the Fuel Delivery Module (FDM), Jet Pump Module (JPM) and/or Cluster Valve (CV) seals are not properly retained in the fuel tank. This may result in illumination of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) or a fuel odour. If the amount of fuel is above the FDM, JPM or CV apertures, fuel may be discharged onto the ground. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel tank or change the seals.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2006283.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Jaguar: 110 in the register, and 377 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 2006.
