Zero S in the other registers
This site holds seven national and European registers. Zero S is named on 31 American notices, 19 British, 15 European, 4 Dutch and 1 Israeli. Those are separate campaigns, filed with separate authorities on their own schedules.

Nothing here says any of these is this notice in another country. A model recalled in one country is often recalled in another, in different words and at a different time, and the authorities do not cross-reference each other. Reading them together is the reason this site holds more than one register.

On certain motorcycles, the front brake caliper bracket may experience permanent deformation when subjected to high braking loads. This could allow misalignment of the front brake pads with respect to the front brake rotor, which could cause a reduction in front braking efficiency, increased stopping distances, and possibly result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the front brake caliper bracket with an updated version. The front brake pads will also be replaced and, if the front brake fluid shows signs of overheating, it will be replaced and the system flushed.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2011258.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This notice names one vehicle among several registers that have written about it. Every notice this site holds for the Zero Zero DS, in all seven, is kept on that vehicle's own page, with the newest in each.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Zero: 17 in the register, and 442 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 2011.
