On certain motorcycles, insufficient weatherproofing may cause a short circuit of the Battery Management System (BMS) when subjected to wet conditions, resulting in the motorcycle inadvertently losing power. Lost vehicle propulsion, in conjunction with traffic and road condition, and the rideru2019s reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will apply weatherproofing compound to the BMS printed circuit board connector.
