On certain fire trucks, fasteners used to mount the fan clutch mounting bracket to the front of the engine may shear resulting in the cooling fan, fan clutch, and mounting bracket separating from the engine, which could result in significant equipment damage. If this occurs while the cab is raised, a person in the vicinity of the engine could be struck and injured. Correction: Dealers will replace the fan clutch mounting bracket fasteners.
