Certain child car seats may not comply with the requirements of Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations. When used as a booster seat, the French labelling incorrectly instructs consumers to pass the shoulder portion of the vehicle seat belt through the lower lap-belt guide. Should the booster seat be installed this way, a piece of the lower lap-belt guide could break, exposing sharp edges which could injure a child occupant or caregiver. Correction: All registered owners will receive new labelling and instructions on how to affix the labels. Non-registered owners of affected car seats, or owners who have moved, should contact Evenflo at 937-773-3971 to register and obtain a labelling kit. The affected car seats should not be returned to the retailer.

Reading this against the source
This page is what Transport Canada published in the Vehicle Recalls Database, kept as it was read. The authority publishes only its current wording; if a notice is rewritten, the earlier version disappears there and is kept here. The whole register is at /canada, and how the reading is done is set out in the method.
What the words on this notice mean — the system it is filed under, and what the filing type says about who found the fault.
This register keeps an index of its own for every maker and every year it holds: Canadian recalls on a Evenflo: 50 in the register, and 466 Canadian vehicle recalls filed in 2013.
