On certain vehicles, the front axle weight limit may be greater than the front spring capacities. If the axle load exceeds the maximum weight capacity of the springs, the springs could fatigue and potentially lead to the front axle separating from the vehicle. This would result in a loss of vehicle control, and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Daimler Trucks North America authorized service facilities will replace the front axle springs.
