Issue: rnA problem with the electric motor electronics (EME) module could cause a sudden loss of power to the drive motor. rnNote: The 12-volt electrical system would still function, so power steering and braking would not be affected. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA sudden loss of motor power could increase the risk of a crash. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnBMW will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take the vehicle to a dealer to replace the electric motor electronics module.
