Issue: rnCertain vans were built with the wrong type of glass in one or both of the rear-side windows. Tempered glass was used in place of laminated glass. As a result, the vehicles may not meet the ejection mitigation requirements of the Canadian regulations. rn rnSafety Risk: rnVans built with incorrect side window glass could create a risk of ejection and injury in a rollover or side-impact crash. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnThe company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their van to a dealer to replace the tempered window glass with laminated glass.

The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2019333.
