Issue: rnOn certain motorhomes equipped with aluminum wheels, the wheel studs are too long. As a result, the wheel nuts cannot be properly tightened. This could cause the wheels to come loose or separate from the motorhome. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. A wheel that separates could also hit another person or vehicle. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnWinnebago will notify owners of affected motorhomes and advise them to immediately stop driving their vehicle. Winnebago will provide owners with instructions for how to proceed with having the wheel studs replaced and wheel nuts properly tightened.
