Issue: rnThe wheel bolts on the left side of certain vehicles may not be properly tightened. This could cause the bolts to loosen or fall off, and could result in a wheel separating from the vehicle. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA wheel separation could increase the risk of a crash. A wheel that separates could also hit another person or vehicle. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnBMW will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to replace the left side wheel bolts and ensure they are properly tightened. Owners are advised to not drive their vehicle until the recall repairs are completed.
