Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the seat belts for the driver, front passenger, second and/or third row seats may be incorrect. Canadian regulations require automatic-locking retractors (ALR) are to be installed on forward facing front passenger, second and/or third row seats.rn rnSafety Risk: rnA non-ALR seat belt would not tightly secure a child seat. This could increase the risk of injury in a crash.rn rnCorrective Actions: rnKia will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the seat belt assemblies. If the seat belts are incorrect, they will be replaced with correct ones.
