Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, the wiring harness for the front doors might not be routed correctly. As a result, the wiring could be damaged when the front doors are opened and closed. This could affect different safety systems, including the airbag system, the automatic unlocking of the door in a crash, or the vehicle location in the event of an emergency call. rn rnSafety Risk: rnSafety systems that do not work properly could increase the risk of injury.rn rnCorrective Actions: rnMercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to modify the routing of the front door wiring harness. If damage is found, the wiring harness will be replaced.
