Issue: rnOn certain Super Duty models equipped with a SuperCrew cab, after a crash where a front seat belt pretensioner deploys, the carpet and/or carpet insulation could catch fire. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA fire that occurs after a crash could create an increased risk of injury. rn rnCorrective Actions: rnFord will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a Ford or Lincoln dealer for repair. The dealer will apply foil tape to the carpet and carpet insulation, and modify the sound deadener on the back side of both driver and passenger side B-pillar trim panels as needed.
