Issue:rnOn certain vehicles, the heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) blower motor may have been built incorrectly. This could result in a short circuit. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA short circuit could cause overheating, melting, smoke, and create the risk of a fire.rnrnCorrective Actions: rnFord will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer for an inspection. The HVAC blower motor will be replaced as necessary.
