Issue: rnA defective blower motor may have been installed on some trucks that were repaired under recall 2019-512 (Ford recall 19S34). The replacement motor may have been built incorrectly and could short circuit. As a result, a second repair may be required. rnrnSafety Risk: rnA short circuit could cause overheating, melting, smoke, and create the risk of a fire. rnrnCorrective Actions: rnFord will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to inspect the blower motor. It will be replaced if it was made during an identified time period.
