Issue: rnCanadian regulations require companies to provide certain information with child seats. The instruction manual included with the seats has small errors in translation. Also, the National Safety Mark (NSM) is placed on the removable seatback. If the back of the seat is removed, it may be difficult to identify that the seat meets Canadian regulations.rnrnSafety Risk: rnThese small errors are unlikely to affect safety. rnrnCorrective Action: rnThis is not a recall. Owners can continue use of seats. The company has made changes to correct all new manuals. Owners should contact the company if they have any questions about how to use the seat. An updated instruction manual will be available on the companyu2019s website.
The wording above is the department's own, as it stood in the monthly file this site last read. Vehicle counts are the sum of the counts published for each make and model the recall covers. To act on a recall, use the official notice: Transport Canada recall 2019660.
