Issue: rnOn certain side-by-side UTV's, the seat belt retractors may be missing a part. This could cause the seat belt to not to work as designed. As a result, the seat belt may not properly restrain a passenger in a crash. rn rnSafety Risk: rnA seat belt that does not work properly could increase the risk of injury to passengers in a crash.rn rnCorrective Actions: rnConsumers should immediately stop using their vehicle and call their dealer to schedule an inspection. Polaris is notifying dealers and contacting registered owners by mail, and email, if available. Polaris will instruct owners and dealers to check the lot code of the UTV's seat belts. Owners should stop using their vehicle if the lot code is within the identified range. The corrective actions for this recall are being finalized.
