Transport Canada carries this recall as 2020454, dated 24 September 2020. The American register carries the same defect as campaign 24V188, dated 8 March 2024. They are the same defect because the manufacturer filed both under one internal campaign code, 20C19.

The two registers are 1,261 days apart: the Canadian entry is dated first, the American one second.
These are the dates each register records against its own notice. They are separate administrative acts in two countries, recorded by two authorities under two sets of rules, and this page does not claim that one caused the other or that owners in either country were contacted on those days. What it shows is that the same manufacturer campaign reached the two registers on different dates.
Read the American notice 24V188, including every earlier version of its wording this site holds. The Canadian register explains why the manufacturer code is published there and what that makes possible. Canada and America sets every matched pair side by side.

Issue: rnOn certain vehicles, an electrical problem with the rearview camera could cause it not to work properly. As a result, the rearview image may be distorted or not display at all.rnrnSafety Risk: rnA rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash.rnrnCorrective Actions: rnFord will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the rearview camera.
